Once you have decided to have K&L Cakes design your dream cake, the first step is a consultation appointment. Our hours are by appointment only, so please contact us to set-up a time that will work for you. For occasions, other than weddings, consultations may be done over the phone.
During the consultation, we will talk about what your vision is for your cake. Will your cake be round or a combination of shapes? How many people do you want to feed with it? What kind of a budget are you working with? What type of decoration/s do you want on the cake (silk flowers, etc…)? And many more details to ensure your cake is what you always envisioned it would be.
We can customize your dream cake to fit your needs, as well as your budget.
At wedding cake consultations, a 6” round cake with 3 different icing choices (buttercream, chocolate buttercream and rolled fondant) will be supplied. This cake is for you to sample (and take home) in order to determine what icing you would like to use for your dream cake.
